What a beautiful, intimate civil wedding this was!

Regine got ready at their home with her Mom, Grandma and sister-in-law present and Rainer’s two daughters styled her for the big day. It was such a relaxed atmosphere that I immediately felt at home. Regine has impeccable taste and proved it not only through the interior design of her home, but also through her choice of dress and accessories. The only downside: A piece of the metal-belt she had wanted to wear broke off during the Getting Ready and even spontaneous help from the groom couldn’t save it.

So they just scratched the bow from the belt and she gracefully wore the belt as a simple band. I’m still thinking I might even prefer it that way.

They did their first look in the stairway, enjoyed another moment with their families and we then continued on to Rapperswil at the shore of Lake Zurich where we did a quick couple’s shoot before continuing on for the two of them to get married!

I am still in awe at how radiantly beautiful Regine looked and how one could really feel the love between Rainer and his bride. It was a great day and a wonderful, slow start into my wedding season.
