Because of Covid-19, my wedding season 2020 turned out a little different than expected. Many of my couples had to postpone their wedding and at first I feared that I wouldn’t be able to work much at all this summer. And then, couples like Yue and Markus turned up. Couples who figured “Hey, we won’t let a pandemic stop us from getting married!”, and planned a small, intimate ceremony instead.

Yue and Markus got married in the beautiful Villa Boveri in Baden. A place that I have visited many times, where I had shot engagement-sessions and where I actually got married myself. But despite living closeby, I had never before photographed a wedding here. And although I wasn’t allowed to enter the room due to Covid-19-restrictions, I think I did a fantastic job caputring the ceremony as best as I could from the side. Yes, the positioning wasn’t ideal but no matter what happens, we make it work!

After the ceremony, we could thankfully roam free in the beautiful park and take some pictures of the happy newlyweds.

I am so glad these two chose to book me for their wedding and I wish them all the best! I’ll definitely be thinking of you guys every time I get to photograph another wedding in the lovely Villa Boveri.
